Hello! Welcome. My name is Rita, I am a Dietetic Student at Florida State and a Nutrition Editor for http://FOODPICKER.org. Foodpicker is “a program designed to help people with diabetes make better food choices” They embrace the guidelines put forth by the following Associations: The American Diabetes, The American Dietetic, and the American Heart Associations.

My passion is to fight childhood obesity and eating disorders. Diabetes is only one of the possible health risks that obese children face.

I hope that you will get involved with my blog so that together we can fight to rid the world of childhood obesity and eat disorders.
